The before of this 1990s Centennial kitchen resonates with a lot of us. Honey oak cabinets on honey oak floors with dark granite countertops and a cooktop crammed into a small island. We transformed the space by relocating the cooktop to the exterior wall, creating an opening between the kitchen and dining room for better flow and to eliminate a dead corner, and playing with wood tones and mixing in painted cabinetry so that not everything is exactly the same color. This kitchen features all Legend cabinetry, a new stain on the existing red oak floors and white Pental quartz countertops.
